June Monthly Crop

Welcome back to Jefferson Scrappers! During the summer our membership is low. So last month we took advantage of eating out. We discovered Paul's Restaurant. If you are not familiar with Paul's it is located on the property of the Oakland Church. All the food is made fresh right down to the desserts.

We took advantage of the genuine broaster chicken, homemade mashed potatoes, gravy and cole slaw. It was the best take out I have had.

We enjoyed it so much. We are having a repeat performance this month.

JS Has 1st Weekend Crop

Jefferson Scrappers hosted their 1st Weekend Crop on March 5, 6 and 7th at the Quality Inn Hotel.
For some it was their 1st weekend crop. They got to experience setting up their table on Friday and leaving it up all weekend. Everyone had so much fun. They have asked to go it again next year.

While some of us took advantage of spending the nite at the hotel, others went home to pamper the hubbies who were home alone. However, the great thing was we could pick up where we left off when we returned.

We all seemed to get our memories preserved while learning new techniques, scrappin and yappin. We are looking forward to making this an annual event!
Our monthly crop for March is the 20th at the Bolivar Community Center from 9am to 9pm. Crop fee is $25 - which includes bottled water, potluck lunch and sandwiches for dinner. If you want bring a snack to share.

Jefferson Scrappers

We are a monthly scrapbook group who meet the 3rd Saturday of every month. We meet at the Bolivar Community in Harpers Ferry, WV. The group originated a few years ago with a handful of friends. Today, we are a group of 15 friends who work together and get things done.

We are a big supporter in the fight against breast cancer. We host an annual "Scrap Pink" Fundraiser in October.
